Phatfish have had the privilege of seeing God work in the lives of hundreds of young people through their ministry since their beginnings in 1994. As a five piece band based in Brighton on the South coast of England, they are often called upon to take their cutting edge music and message into universities, churches and youth events all over Britain and into America, Canada and beyond. They have grown to be a very sought after Christian band in the UK.
The heart of Phatfish is to be totally passionate about the God they serve and to inspire others with the vision of being radical for Jesus and his kingdom. Lou, Nath, Luke, Mike and Alan have found music a to be powerful tool for communicating their passion and reaching this culture. They write songs of truth with unforgettable music and performance. Thousands of people have enjoyed their live show which is both entertaining and challenging. As the band say themselves; “ We love excellent music and tight performance which will entertain people, and we also love to praise God and see him glorified through our music. We are committed to worshipping the creator who loves us and encouraging others to do the same”.
Phatfish also form the core of ‘The Stoneleigh Band’ in which they work with Stuart Townend and others, leading worship at large Christian events such as Stoneleigh Bible Week and Spring Harvest.
