About

For Karen Espinosa, a New Jersey native with a special connection to her Dominican roots, music has been essential since childhood. This passion was sparked by her mother (Cleiry Cruz), a renowned worship artist, who involved her in various church activities from an early age. She began her career in a composition camp organized by Maverick City Music, where her talent and dedication did not go unnoticed. Invited to be part of Maverick City Music, with whom she managed to obtain more than two hundred million reproductions, she had the opportunity to tour Latin America, El Coliseo de Puerto Rico, Madison Square Garden and several cities in the United States. Her work as one of the performers and co-writer in the project Venga Tu Reino was recognized with a nomination to the Dove Awards in 2022.

After her time with Maverick City Música, Karen Espinosa embarks on a significant transition as a solo artist. During her last 3 years, Karen has collaborated and written with Montesanto, Generation 12, Christine D'Clario, Barak, Upperroom, Averly Morillo, Edward Rivera, Daniel Calveti, Miel San Marcos and many more.
